Nicole Kulaga joined CHHS in March 2019, after graduating from the University of Maryland, Francis King Carey School of Law. Ms. Kulaga earned dual concentrations in Cybersecurity & Crisis Management and in Health Law during her time at Carey School of Law. During law school, Ms. Kulaga externed with CHHS and worked on various projects with the Opioid Operational Command Center. In addition to her time at CHHS, Ms. Kulaga also focused on interprofessional relations between the law school and various other professional schools at the University of Maryland. This led her to participate in the University of Maryland President’s Clinic as a student intern and the University of Maryland Baltimore Health Alliance as an advisory board member. Both of these organizations functioned to provide an interprofessional approach to the care of clients, including proving legal, medical, social work, and dentistry advice. Ms. Kulaga is also the co-author of the book, “Your Guide To Selling Fashion on Amazon” which discusses the Intellectual property issues that may potentially arise from selling on Amazon.com. Prior to enrolling as a transfer at Carey School of Law, Nicole spent two years at Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. During her time at Hofstra Law, she participated in the Robert W. Entenmann Veterans Law Clinic where she worked extensively on military discharge upgrade appeals and requests. Ms. Kulaga also has a passion for wellness. While at Hofstra Law, she was the founding member of the Hofstra Law Yoga Club to help improve wellness among law students. Prior to law school, Nicole Kulaga graduated from the University of New Paltz with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
