Law & Policy Analyst
Luis Beltran joined CHHS as a Law & Policy Analyst in September of 2024. Prior to joining the CHHS team, he worked for the Johns Hopkins Medicine Office of Human Subjects Protection as a human research compliance associate to uphold regulatory compliance in human subjects research.
Prior to law school, Mr. Beltran worked for the Emory University Institutional Review Board as a research analyst reviewing human subjects research for regulatory compliance. He obtained a J.D. from the University of Maryland, Francis King Carey school of law with certificates in cybersecurity and emergency management and health law. While in law school, Mr. Beltran participated in the Medical-Legal Partnership clinic processing Social Security claims, worked as a law clerk for Strategic Tax Planning conducting legal research, and worked as an extern for CHHS for the Fall of 2022.
Mr. Beltran graduated from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia in 2018 with a major in Philosophy of Law and a minor in Business Marketing.
