Jorge Miranda joined CHHS as a Law & Policy Analyst in September of 2024. Jorge obtained a J.D. from the University of Maryland, Francis King Carey school of law with a certificate in cybersecurity and emergency management. While in UMB’s evening law program, Jorge worked at the Montgomery County Maryland’s Pro Bono Program as a case manager, followed by a stint at Kids In Need of Defense’s Baltimore location. Following his graduation from UMB’s evening law program, Jorge was a senior paralegal at the Department of Justice’s National Cryptocurrency Enforcement Team (NCET) for one year. He was also a paralegal specialist at DOJ’s Computer Crimes and Intellectual Property Section following its merger with NCET.
Jorge graduated from University of California San Diego in 2012 with a major in Latin American Studies and a minor in Visual Media.
