Danyel Hafeez joined CHHS in July 2018 as a Policy Analyst (Research Fellow). Mr. Hafeez holds a Masters of Public Health degree with a specialization in Health Policy & Management from Emory University Rollins School of Public Health.
While in graduate school, Mr. Hafeez interned for the American Public Health Association as well as the Montgomery County Health Department as a Policy Analyst.
Prior to joining CHHS Mr. Hafeez also worked within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Division of HIV/AIDs Prevention as a Medical/Public Health intern. His work at the CDC varied from special projects under the Chief Medical Officer to analysis of syringe services programs.
Mr. Hafeez now works as an Opioid Project Evaluator, providing data analytics and analysis on multi-disciplinary intervention methods including harm reduction, legislative efforts, law enforcement, and treatment programs and protocols that are implemented within Howard County.
