Jobs, Inequality and the Public Sector: Improving the Economic Competitiveness and Innovative Capacity of the U.S.

CHHS Founder and Director Michael Greenberger, former Director of the Division of Trading and Markets at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), will join some of the nation’s top economic and innovative minds for a panel discussion titled, "Competitiveness, Job Creation and Inequality."

Other speakers invited to participate on this panel include Richard Freeman of Harvard University and Elizabeth Warren of Harvard Law School. Abby Cohen of Goldman Sachs and James Manyika of McKinsey & Company.

This is part of a half-day conference co-sponsored by the Communications Workers of America. The group is a member of the Innovation Advisory Board, which has been set up by the U.S. Department of Commerce. The goal is to complete a comprehensive study of the economic competitiveness and innovative capacity of the United States by January 2012.
