Trudy Henson joined CHHS as a Law and Policy Analyst in September 2008 and became a Senior Law & Policy Analyst in 2011. Originally from Georgia, she received her BA in English Literature from Berry College and an MA in English Literature from the University of Georgia. She attended the University of Maryland School of Law and graduated cum laude in 2008. During law school, she worked on the Journal for Health Care Law and Policy and interned for the Atlanta district office of the Securities and Exchange Commission. She began interning at CHHS in 2007 and joined as a Law and Policy Analyst upon graduating. She has worked on a variety of projects, including emergency response plan testing and training for hospitals, and developing recommendations for facilities managing mass fatalities. Ms. Henson also coordinates the Center's student research assistants and externs.
