Lori Romer Stone, JD

Biography

Lori Romer Stone joined CHHS in February 2008. She worked at the Maryland Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) as a National Capitol Region Planner, coordinating evacuation and shelter efforts with federal, state, and local emergency managers and planners. She also worked on public education and media outreach related to evacuation and shelter. She is now a Senior Law and Policy Analyst working on an Interoperability project for Maryland's Eastern Shore, COOP training and exercises for the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and writing grants and competitive bids for CHHS.

From 2005 to 2008, she was the director of media relations for the University of Maryland School of Law. From 1996 to 2005, Ms. Stone worked as a producer, writer, and assignment editor for WBAL-TV in Baltimore and WRC-TV in Washington, D.C.
