George Lettis comes to CHHS with a decade of experience in the news business, covering everything from the 9/11 attacks in D.C. to Barack Obama on his presidential campaign trail. He was a television news reporter for 3 local NBC affiliates and worked behind the scenes at the Washington Bureau of NBC News. Most recently, he was at WBAL-TV in Baltimore. He’s been honored with several Associated Press and Emmy awards. His coverage of the ’08 presidential campaign garnered him a Walter Cronkite Award of Excellence in Television Political Journalism. Mr. Lettis received his BA from the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland, College Park.
