David Brummett joined CHHS in April 2006 as a Law and Policy Analyst after completing a two year clerkship with the Office of the Maryland Attorney General. Mr. Brummett offers a uniquely broad range of homeland security work experience, having held positions at the state executive, state agency, and local levels. He is currently the Senior Analyst providing law and policy guidance to the Baltimore Urban Area Homeland Security Working Group, the executive leadership of the Baltimore Urban Area Security Initiative. Mr. Brummett holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts and a JD from the University of Maryland School of Law. Prior to engaging in the study of law, he enjoyed a 10 year career in the financial and life insurance services industry as a Life Underwriter and Mutual Fund Accountant.
