Cezar A. B. Lopez joined CHHS as a Law Fellow in August 2009. Prior to law school, Mr. Lopez worked as Program Manager for Race Relations at the Asian American Justice Center in Washington, D.C. Mr. Lopez has worked on a range of legislative issues, including energy-efficiency, election law, and federal appropriations, when he served as a legal intern to U.S. Senator Byron L. Dorgan, Maryland Delegate Jon S. Cardin, and U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. He has also worked on various federal, state, and local political campaigns in Maryland and Missouri. Mr. Lopez graduated from the University of Maryland College Park in 2001, where he received a BA in Government and Politics. He received a JD from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2007.
