Angelique So joined CHHS as a Law and Policy Analyst in 2009. She is currently working on Continuity of Operations (COOP) Plans for Howard County (MD) and its 18 governmental agencies. Prior to joining CHHS, she worked as a research analyst, conducting due diligence to ensure compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. She has also served as a legal intern at the U.S. Senate’s Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, where she worked extensively on a tax shelter investigation. Ms. So has also worked with the American Civil Liberties Union as a legal intern, working on First Amendment issues. She also clerked for Judge Lamar McCorkle for the 133rd District Court in Houston, Texas. Furthermore, Ms. So summered for a prominent maritime law firm in New Orleans. While in law school, she served as a notes and comments editor for the Tulane Maritime Law Journal and as the journal’s coach for the Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court team. Ms. So is licensed to practice law in California. She speaks fluent Cantonese Chinese and conversational Mandarin Chinese.
