CHHS Director Michael Greenberger weighs in as local civil liberties groups are criticizing the D.C. Metro for random bag searches implemented at train stations. Metro says the searches are part of its continuing effort to improve security. Civil liberties groups say they violate the Fourth Amendment and are not necessarily effective.
