The Maryland Emergency Management Agency and the University of Maryland Center for Health and Homeland Security (CHHS) invite you to attend this mid-day training. This workshop will help emergency management professionals, and others, better understand the concept of cyber security and how its multi-faceted nature impacts daily workforce life. This presentation is not a lesson on computer science and technical jargon, but rather a briefing of current cyber threats, setbacks in cyber security and a lesson on how to better protect your jurisdictions’ or agencies’ networks and cyber infrastructure. The ultimate goal of this training is to give you some tips on best daily practices for your jurisdictions’ network and cyber infrastructure.

This training will be led by Brian Bauer and Laura Hoch, Policy Analysts for CHHS.
