Attorneys & Emergency Management Professionals

Reference: CHHS1258

CHHS is always interested in receiving applications from well qualified emergency management professionals and attorneys with an interest and/or background in homeland security or emergency management.

Applicants must be either law school graduates who are members of or are applying to a state bar; or hold advanced degrees in the medical, public health, emergency management, or homeland security fields. CHHS will also consider candidates who both hold an advanced degree and are certified first responders with substantial field and training experience in emergency response.

Michael Greenberger, a professor at the University of Maryland School of Law and founder and director of CHHS, oversees the work of CHHS employees. Professor Greenberger may ask CHHS employees to help coordinate and run training programs for attorneys and health professionals in the public and private sector. They may also provide academic support for Professor Greenberger through legal writing and course preparation.
